Buy Your Fall Plan Today

  • Do I need to buy a meal plan?
All first year students living on the Tempe, Downtown Phoenix, West and Polytechnic campuses are required by the University to purchase a dining plan each semester. All Barrett Honors College students living in the Barrett Residential Complex are required to purchase a Barrett dining plan each semester. Any Upper-division or Graduate students living in traditional residence halls are required to have a meal plan. If you are an upperclassman living in a university apartment (Adelphi Commons II, Vista Del Sol, University Towers or Las Casas) you are not required to purchase a plan, although it is strongly recommended.

Please Note: Students that are required to purchase a dining plan due to living in a residential hall on campus, must select their dining plan via My Housing Portal  (housing.asu.edu). This online feature can be used to purchase an Express Dining Pass by Commuter Students, Faculty and Staff. Any student (resident or non-resident) may also use this online feature to add Maroon and Gold Dollars to any existing Express Dining Pass. All sales are final.

  • Will my meal plan auto renew for next semester?
Mandatory students will be automatically opted in for a meal plan for the Spring semester. Students wishing to change their meal plan must do so in the MyASU Housing Portal prior to the meal plan change deadline.

  • Will unused meals or M&G Dollars roll over?
For Mandatory Resident students who have purchased a meal plan using MyASU Housing Portal, unused M&G dollars will transfer from Fall to Spring semester and expire at the conclusion of the Summer session.  For Voluntary/Commuter students who have purchased a meal plan using Campus Dish, unused M&G will transfer each semester until the student graduates from the University.  Meals do NOT transfer from semester to semester and will expire on the last day of each semester.  Unused M&G Dollars are forfeited if there is no use on the account for more than 6 months.

  • If I have already purchased a meal plan, can I change it?
Meal plan changes for Mandatory Resident students are accepted up through August 23, 2018 of the Fall Semester. If you need to change your meal plan, please visit the University Housing portal via myASU and select the change meal plan option. All voluntary dining plan purchases are final at the time of purchase.

  • Terms & Conditions
Don’t worry - simplicity and convenience are all within reach. Once you have a meal plan, your student ID works like a debit card. Just swipe your card and the meals and points are deducted from your meal plan account.

Add Maroon and Gold Dollars
Maroon and Gold Dollars can be used at all four ASU campuses. Voluntary Maroon and Gold Dollars purchased from this website rollover each year until you are no longer affiliated with the University or have not used the account for more than 6 months (in this case dollars will be forfeited). The rollover policy applies to voluntary Express Dining Pass students, faculty/staff, and mandatory students that add-on Maroon & Gold Dollars via this website or through the campus dining office.  The rollover policy does not apply to Maroon and Gold Dollars that are associated with resident meal plans.
